You only have this moment
I hope this message finds you well.
Life is made up of special moments. Some we take note of, and others, well, they slip past us. We miss the view and the richness of simple seconds tucked inside our daily coming and going.
This week, my best friend and I met at a park in my small town. The pandemic kept us apart for several months protected but missing our special moments. This was our first in-person, socially distanced, outside, but eager to catch up on our lives and thoughts.
The day was lovely, pleasant, and dry for June in Texas. As we were leaving, the docent in the historical park thanked us and hoped we had enjoyed our day together. Then, she said:
“Be glad you have your friend. I’m 78, and mine are all gone.”
Live life to the fullest, now, not later. Later may never arrive.

We all need someone to walk with every day as we live our fullest life and l say, “I’ll Stand by You.”
I'll stand by you, won't let nobody hurt you,
I'll stand by you.
Baby, even to your darkest hour, and I'll never desert you,
I'll stand by you.
Inspiring words to remember . . .
