Hello friends,
You may have noticed that I close each post “with gratitude.” That nine-letter word shifts any moment from despair to hope.
Today, I want to share my gratitude list—not in any particular order.
I will start with you, dear reader. Thank you for opening my emails and allowing me into your day. My intent each week is to bring a little good news, something to ponder, and always, music to inspire.
My husband, the love of my life, makes the world a better place for me. His kindness, humor, and ability to listen to my rants, keep me on steady ground.
Our daughter and two sons have grown into compassionate and passionate adults. They hold firm to their beliefs and live their lives through their values. What more could a mother hope for?
Two amazing grandchildren and a grand-niece give us the chance to spoil children without remorse. They bring smiles and warm my heart.
My extended family and friends add to the richness of every day. They make up that “box of chocolates.” You never know what you will get, but each brings something special.
Sunsets, the sights and sounds of all creatures big and small, and the fragrance of a summer’s day give me reasons for gratitude. I can see, smell, hear, and touch the world around me.
These are only a few of my favorite things. Let’s all look for the small moments that bring gratitude.
I wish for you a cup overflowing with joy and hope.
I am grateful for the people in my life and appreciate how time with a treasured friend can change me.
The creative artist who writes, Austin Kleon, shares his gratitude zine. I can’t think of a better template for gratefulness any time of the year.

No amount of anxiety changes the future.
Any amount of gratitude changes the present.”

Find a little wonder this week:
“Get your wonder where you can. Like finding your balance on a bicycle, wonder will always set you right, show you what is possible, and whirl some wind through your hair while doing it.”
