This is such a delightful post with exquisite examples of nature everywhere. Thank you for sharing your trip to the Moody Gardens with me (and others). Your photos are stunning. Do you know what those butterflies are called? I'm wondering whether those blue/purple flowers are cornflowers or not, too. The Humboldt Penguins and the White-faced Saki Monkey are gorgeous. It's good to see some coral reefs that are not damaged by the acidity of our seas and oceans, even if this is simply an exhibit. I took a look at all your links to learn more. The Eyes Wide Open video is quite disturbing in its meaning but entertaining to watch. I'm passionate about nature and saving the planet, and I totally agree with Jane Woodhall's words. We humans, particularly in the so-called developed countries, need to start treating our world with all its inhabitants, whether human, animal or plant life, with the respect it so much deserves. Thanks again, Kathryn.
