I agree, I encourage my children to underestimate no one. Give everyone a chance to be themselves without fear. That's the only way you will get the real human from them. The truth is easy for the one who isn't afraid to be themselves.

Thanks Annelise. As we’ve agreed before, there is always more to learn if we’re willing to keep growing. What a difference a little openness and kindness can make for ourselves and others.

This is such a powerful post, Kathryn. We still hesitate and underestimate what’s already at the ready for us— the ordinary.

I always feel that if we give value to this very aspect of life the extraordinary will reveal itself to us. It’s in there. We just gotta want to see it.

We all benefit when we shed preconceived notions, and embrace without labeling as being under this or that in value and esteem.

Your granddaughter is so intuitive. I’m so happy you shared this exchange between you and her today. Thanks, Kathryn.

“take a chance, do what only you are meant to do. Sing, dance, write, plant a garden. Give a smile.” Gosh, this is deep. I bless you. IWYM 💗
