As I began reading this post, I was intrigued and wanted to read the next word and the next one, a bit like a good novel. It's a fascinating subject. I like the quote, "We don’t see things as they are; we see them as we are." It's a bit like, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." We all see things differently and from our own individual perspectives. The TED video was good, and I loved your rain poem, too. The Today article was downright scary, certainly regarding surgeons and doctors not spotting what they're not expecting on the scans and x-rays. This post is really food for thought. It's got me thinking anyway. Thanks for sharing, Kathryn.
